My life lately
I don't know what it is about me, but i just can't relax. If i don't have my fingers in a bunch of "pots" I go soooo stir crazy.
So my latest adventure is flipping a house with my dad. Can you beleive you can buy a house for 30,000. Yes it is a run down house in the ghetto but 30 grand is just crazy. - especially compared to california.
We are pretty much gutting the downstairs and starting over. upstairs we are salvaging as much as we can. outside we have to repaint some of b/c of peeling and water damage. The house has good guts though-and a great layout for the period.
So while kids take naps, and at night i go and work on the flip. I decided to do it so we can get rid of a big chunk of debt from tim's school-and my dad just couln't resist the project.
The studio is starting to book up for seniors-so that is good. I have had a lot of wedding lately. Last weekend was a plannign job. The florist was a friend of the family that used to own a local green house-she was the florist from HELL. They were the ugliest arrangements i have ever seen and she forgot some of the reception flowers. So she bought flower petals last minute and I fixed things after she left. Her name is Hedwig and i don't think english is her first language.
Lauren is growing fast. Parker is done with preschool now. So summer has begun. (and parker is already bored) we do slip-n-slide often, and go to the kids museum. It is not disneyland-but it is all we got here is Newark.
Parker has the flu-so we were up most of the night. I am going to lay back down.
