beautiful

bitter sweet

this whole move to California is bitter sweet. I'm excited sometimes about the new adventure we will have and the opportunity Chuck's family will have to be around Leland. But we are definitely sad to leave Maryland and the East coast. On the way home from church today Chuck started crying because he was feeling sad about leaving. He has grown vey attached to the East coast and to Todd and Christine. It was sweet, he has such a tender heart.

I think I finally secured a place to live. We were orginally told we didn't qualify to live there with our amount of income. What's crazy is this was the cheapest apartment in the area. I think I got it worked out on Friday but I have to make sure on Monday that it's definitely ours. They loook realy cute online and Chuck's sister went to check them out on Friday so I think they are nice.

Chuck's last day of work is Monday so he is thrilled. He now has to start working on getting some money for us to make this whole move. I found a girl who wants my job at the Dr's office and I started training her on Saturday.

I got some things checked off my To-Do List this weekend. Hopefully I can get the rest done this week so I can start packing. I have already started into throw out mode and finding things that are not worth carrying across the country.

Thanks for understanding about not coming out to Ohio this weekend. It sucks to have so much to do to prepare for our move because all we really want to do is hang out with friends that we won't see for a while. Christine and Todd invited us to go with them to Williamsburg this week and we had to turn them down toobecause we have so much to do.

Leland has a cardiology appointment on Friday to check her heart murmur. I'm sure it healed itself like they thought, but it still makes me nervous to go. I've had to wait 2 1/2 months for this appointment. That's crazy.

So did you hear a definate no on W&M? I can't believe it is happening so fast. I wish i could come and help you move. Let me know if you need anything i can do from here. :(
