Hi Ladies! Sorry I haven't been posting much either.... It feeels like I've been super busy, but I can't recall what I've been doing!

The good news is that I have a few vacations lined up. I'm going back to Costa Rica next month with some girls from work and my sisters. And in April I'm going to Vegas! I'm not that excited about going to Vegas, except for the reason why I'm going. Back in December a co-worker and I wrote a little paper about one of the protocols we use here on our unit, and submitted it to the Oncology Nursing Society. Well, they liked it a lot, and now we are going to the confrence with a Poster presentation. Ok, so it's not that exciting, I'll get to stand in a big hall for hours talking to people about Continuous Bladder Irrigation (I know you want to know all about it!)

So, since I'm going to be so close to LA, I thought, might as well take the short trip over and see Ashley. What do you think Liz? Want to come? Ashley, would it be too much for us to stay at your in-laws with you? I don't want to impose. I am fine with doing a weekend in July in NC too, that sounds fun.

The pictures of Lauren are so cute.

Well it turns out I get to spend the summer packing and waiting to move AGAIN! Fun for me. Chuck is going to apply to tranfer law schools for next year. He enjoys his classes but feels that if he can find a school that is a better fit for him then we will go. The waiting game is worse for transfer students because he does not even apply until June. What his plans are for the summer are also up in the air. He is debating between trying to get an internship somewhere or going to summer school. They do not offer any summer classes that interest him at Chapman, so he will find another school to take classes. He is trying to find something that will allow him to be with me for the birth and first week or so of the new baby.

Where does that leave me in all that mix? At home with a newborn and a 2 yr old. FUN! I think we are going to move into his parent's house in April or May for the summer until we know for sure where he is going to school. It will save us a TON of money. Once I broke it down in our budget, I was amazed.

Chuck just keeps saying that he does not want to regret not spending enough time with his parents while we lived on the West coast. Well if we live with them for a few months before we move then I think that will be plenty of time.

As for our girls weekend, I will not be flying anywhere once April comes around so if you want to come here that will be great. Although I will be living with my in-laws and I think their beach houses may be rented from March through the summer. They have already started tearing a few down, so there are not as many options as before.

Another idea would be to wait until July. I am planning to come to Maryland and then on to NC for that month. Since Chuck will hopefully be busy working or in school I will visit family. Plus if I'm not paying rent anywhere I won't feel so bad living elsewhere for a month. It is not definite yet, but very probable that I will be on the East coast once I feel up to traveling.

I would fine to wait until July so you guys don't have to travel so far. Let me know what you think.

My new assistant

Here is my lovely new assistant. She is full of character and energy-can't you tell!

Well, sorry it has been so long since i have posted. I am back to the living since my winter rush at work and holidays.
Not too much is new. Parker got his first stitches compliments of a corner baseboard. He has faired well from it though. Lauren is growing fast and learning more everyday how to bug Parker.

I finished our taxes and it is not pretty we owe so much!! in contrast to last years return of 4.300!

Also Ash i need your new address. i held onto your christmas card for awhile w/o an address, then it accidentally went out and obviously came back. Any how i need it.
