jealous

So this week you two are together and my sisters are together at my mom's house. The only thing that is keeping me okay with this is that I am planning our move back to the East Coast.

I have made the most of my year in CA and have really enjoyed it, but I am so so excited to move to VA. Not really excited about the actual moving process, but excited to be in VA.

4 weeks and counting.

School Update

So here is an update on our school situation:

Chapman - offered Chuck another 100% paid tuition. That would have been great news if we wanted to stay, but now it just makes our decison a little more difficult. It is a good thing he didn't know last year because he probably would not have worked as hard to get good grades to transfer.

U of Richmond (VA) - Accepted. We are trying to get them to extend their deadline for him to reply.
Washington & Lee (VA) - Told him they would make their decision by the 21st
William & Mary (VA) - Our top choice. Told him they should have a decsion by the end of July. The Dean of Admissions remembers him from meeting with him last summer when he was on the wait list.

Other schools - Lewis &Clark (OR), U of MD, U of VA, U of SC. No real news on those schools. He is going to VA July 21-25 to visit some of the schools. The part that sucks the most is that he has read most of these schools want an almost an immediate decison from us and a non-refundable deposit of $500-$750. That's a lot of money.

I will keep you posted of any decisions, but I'm pretty sure we wil be heading East at the end of the summer. :-)

Fun Times

We have had some fun time in San Diego. Last week we went to a Padres game (they were playing the Orioles) We had a lot of fun. Leland was suprisingly more into the game than we thought. It was really cute. Tonight we walked along the harbor where they have the Maritime Museum boats (similar to the one's in the Inner Harbor) and an Aircraft carrier.

A few things that are affecting our transfer: chuck found out he will still have 100% scholarship next year. That's a great thing, but puts a kink in our decision to leave. I cried when I found out, and Chuck reassured me that in his mind that doesn't mean we will stay for sure. We found out the next day that he was accepted to the U of Richmond. We are very excited about that, but are still going to wait out to hear from the other schools to make any decisions. We will keep you posted.
